PCBs for Rod Ready Indicator Chassis for Pickering NPP (Canada)

In 2014 PC “RPC Radiy” completed a reverse engineering project for the Pickering Nuclear Power Plant, Canada. Printed Circuits Boards assemblies (PCBs) were designed, manufactured, tested and supplied for Shutdown System 1 (SDS 1) Rod Ready Indicator Chassis for the CANDU-type reactors. The manufacture and delivery of the PCBs for Rod Ready Indicator Chassis was followed by PCB Prototype qualification which included functional tests and burn-in test. The PCBs demonstrated full compliance with the IEC 60068-2-78, Rod Ready Indicator Chassis Technical Specification requirements and Canadian Standards Association (CSA)/Electrical Safety Authority (ESA) requirements.
