On December 23, the set of Safety-Related Conventional Island I&C System (SR CI I&C System), designed and manufactured for Power Unit № 1 of Rivne NPP, successfully passed acceptance tests at Radiy testing ground.
The tests were performed in accordance with the program and procedure "Rivne NPP, power unit № 1. Safety-Related Conventional Island I&C System (SR CI I&C System). The program and procedure of acceptance tests at manufacturer’s testing ground."
According to the commission's findings:
1. Designed SR CI I&C System meets the requirements of the document "Rivne NPP, power unit № 1. Terms of Reference on manufacture, design, production and supply. Safety-Related Conventional Island I&C System (SR CI I&C System) of UYAISH.468263.058 TZ". It also complies with the existing codes, rules and standards on nuclear and radiation safety.
2. Design, process, operational and software documentation for SR CI I&C System meets the requirements of Terms of Reference and is sufficient for application.
3. Commission recommended SR CI I&C System to be supplied to Power Unit № 1 of Rivne NPP.
