Founded to manufacture loudspeakers and consumer electronic equipment

1963

Began manufacturing of dynamic loudspeakers for small-size transistor receivers

1971

Modernized to manufacture equipment for televisions

1976

Began manufacturing TV-transmitters

1977

Manufactured television equipment in order to broadcast the 1980 Olympic Games

1988

Became the largest company in the USSR involved in the production of TV studio equipment, mobile TV stations, TV and radio broadcasting equipment, cable TV equipment, and dynamic loudspeakers

1995

Began production of unified software and hardware complexes for automated process control systems to replace obsolete equipment at nuclear power plants. New systems were made using Field Programmable Gate Arrays (FPGAs)

2000

Generation II of the digital Radiy I&C Platform was designed using FPGAs from leading global manufacturers

2005

One of the first companies in Ukraine to have a Quality Management System certified by TÜV international certification authority to meet ISO 9001:2000 requirements

2007

Successfully completed safety control system modernization at Kozloduy nuclear power plant

2008

Modernization the control and protection systems on the research reactor at the Institute for Nuclear Research of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine
Center for safety infrastructure research and analysis was established at Kharkiv National Aerospace University

2009

2009 Establishing of the scientific and technical conference Dependable Systems, Services and Technologies (DESSERT). Hosting the second conference "Dependable Systems, Services and Technologies DESSERT 2009" in Kropyvnytskyi (Kirovohrad)

2009, 2013

Hosted the International Workshop on the Application of FPGAs in Nuclear Power Plants

2010

Became an approved supplier of Atomic Energy Canada Ltd., the designer of CANDU reactors

2010-2011

The International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) performed an Independent Engineering Review of FPGA-based I&C Systems (IERICS) produced by Radiy

2011

Began production of energy-efficient LED luminaires for outdoor and indoor lighting

2012

Established the subsidiary company Radics to supply Radiy products to the international market

2013

Established Trade House to sell Radiy’s LED products

2014
  • Developed the digital RadICS Platform for nuclear power plant safety systems and other high-risk facilities
  • Successfully completed of two projects for CANDU Energy:

Exida certified the RadICS Platform as SIL 3 in a single channel

2018

Signed a Strategic Partnership Agreement with Curtiss-Wright Corporation for fulfillment of safety system modernization projects at US nuclear facilities

2019

RadICS Platform received US NRC licensure

Established RadiyLED to sell energy-efficient systems and LED products

2020

Received US NRC licensure of new modules for the RadICS Platform
