On May 27-29, 2019, RPC Radiy testing grounds hosted several testing activities:
- Acceptance testing of Hardware and Process Protection Interlocks and Alarms of Engineered Safety Features Actuation System of the 3rd channel (ESFAS-3) for SS Rivne NPP Power Unit No.3;
- Hand-over acceptance testing of Hardware and Process Protection Interlocks and Alarms of Engineered Safety Features Actuation System of the 3rd channel (ESFAS-3) for SS Rivne NPP Power Unit No.3;
- Acceptance testing and hand-over acceptance testing of Diagnostic Set for Upper Level Diagnostic SHC for SS Rivne NPP Power Unit No.3.
The results of this testing have proved compliance of ESFAS-3 equipment, Diagnostic Set for Upper Level Diagnostic SHC, and their components with the effective Nuclear Radiation Safety codes and standards and requirements of Terms of Reference (ToR) and design documentation. The supply sets found to be operable and functioning correctly in all operation modes according to ToR. The design, operating and program documents are developed in full scope, and the quality of the documents meets the Ukrainian regulatory requirements. The supply sets are approved for shipping to the Customer for modernization of Engineered Safety Features Actuation System of the 3rd channel at SS Rivne NPP Power Unit No 3. Shipment to the Customer’s site is scheduled for June 2019.
