26.10.2018On September 25, 2018, at 11:00 a.m., the signing ceremony of the Strategic Partnership Agreement (hereafter - Agreement) between Radics LLC (Ukraine) and Curtiss-Wright Corporation (the United States of America) occurred at the conference hall of PC RPC Radiy.
In addition to the company representatives, the following persons were invited for the Event: S. Kuzmenko, Head of Kirovohrad Regional Public Administration, А. Raikovych, City Mayor, К. Yarynych, Member of Parliament of Ukraine, representatives of the US Embassy in Ukraine – Martin Claessens, Senior Commercial Officer and M. Myrtsalo, Commercial Specialist, I. Saienko, President of Kirovohrad Regional Chamber of Commerce and Industry, I. Bakhmach, Head of Supervisory Council of PC RPC Radiy.
The main purpose of the event was to sign the Agreement between Radics LLC and Curtiss-Wright Corporation, the culmination of a fruitful three-year cooperation.
The Agreement provides for the joint implementation of modernization projects at US nuclear power plants. Radics LLC and Curtiss-Wright Corporation will direct their efforts for support of safety systems modernization projects at US nuclear power plants by applying innovative Radics platform that is designed and manufactured by PC RPC Radiy.
Curtiss-Wright Corporation will supply the products made on the RadICS platform for nuclear power plants, research reactor facilities, DOE national laboratories and provide support and services for end user.
One of the steps for Agreement implementation will be the engineering support by Radics LLC to Curtiss-Wright Corporation to set up the development processes of software for NPPs that meet all the requirements of the US Nuclear Regulatory Commission.
In accordance with the Agreement, specialists of Radics LLC will also develop the Demonstration system for Curtiss-Wright Corporation which is necessary to introduce the RadICS platform both to the Company’s personnel and potential customers of Curtiss-Wright Corporation. In addition, Radics engineers are going to provide training sessions for of Curtiss-Wright personnel.
Officially the partnership of Radics LLC and Curtiss-Wright Corporation will be announced for all nuclear community during the 11th International Workshop on application of FPGAs at NPPs in Dallas on October 8, 2018.
