Acceptance Tests of Turbine Regulation System for Rivne NPP Have Been Completed

On February 17, 2023 RPC Radiy successfully completed Acceptance Testing of mechanic hydraulic equipment designed to control turbine K-220-44 at Rivne Nuclear Power Plant, Ukraine. The equipment was designed and developed in compliance with “Terms of Reference. Mechanic Hydraulic Equipment for Turbine K-220-44. Power Units 1, and 2, Rivne NPP. Units and Items. D-7833 (functionality testing of actuator for electronic automatic safety device of mechanic hydraulic part of turbine automatic regulation and protection system).

The equipment for turbine regulation was produced as part of the joint work of “Ukrenergymachines”JSC, (Kharkiv), RPC Radiy, (Kropyvnytskyi) and Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. And it was due to a very effective interaction and cooperation between three parties that it became possible to achieve the maximum result in the Project implementation.

The Acceptance Testing Committee assigned by RPC Radiy involved Customer’s representatives (specialists of Rivne NPP). It took the Committee members 3 days to perform the functionality testing and review the documents against all the specified requirements.

The tests confirmed Committee’s conclusions about Project documentation and equipment technical parameters’ compliance with Customer’s requirements.
The Committee’s resume stated that the Product can now be delivered to the Customer in accordance with specified documentation. It was also recommended to approve design, program and operational documentation developed by the main Contractor.
The Equipment for Power Units 1and 2, Rivne NPP is to be shipped to its destination before the end of February.
