On December 26, radiy team completed Factory Acceptance Testing for the equipment designed and developed for Power Unit 3 of South-Ukraine NPP. Approval of the FAT results allows nuclear facility operators to have continuous reliable power supply for the NPP individual lines. The power supply cabinets manufactured by radiy specialists are designed to protect NPP systems against current overloads and short circuits. They also have capacity of prompt disconnection as well as communication and repair functions, which corresponds to category C according to Regulatory rules 306.2.202 -2015.
The FAT procedures were a truly positive experience for radiy designers and Customer’s representatives.
The results confirmed the compliance of the equipment and its documentation with all current regulations. The cabinets are going to be timely delivered to the Customer.
