26.06.2019One of the most important tasks for Ukraine is to prepare a worthy substitute of young specialists in technical occupations. Lack of engineers has recently become a global problem at the state level. The staff of the company Radiy has more than 300 highly qualified engineers, and the need for such specialists is constantly increasing. Therefore, Radiy provides an opportunity for students to do practical training in its design-engineering departments and production facilities. Having many years of experience and high qualification, Radiy specialists systematically work with future young engineers. According to the results of successful practice, graduate students of specialized educational institutions receive stable jobs with decent wage and full social security at the company.
As part of this activity, on June 24, 2019, students of Kropyvnytskyi College of Engineering within Central Ukrainian National Technical University (CUNTU) defended their graduate works at RPC Radiy training center. The state examination committee included college teachers and professional experts, who were scientific practitioners of Radiy. The commission was led by Radiy representative Mr. Viktor Lipkin, a Deputy Director of the Plant for Steering Hydromechanics. The Chairman of the State Examination Commission noted high level of the students training and their deep desire to become true professionals. In their diplomas in applied mechanics and specialization “Maintenance of Numerically Controlled Machine Tools” students proposed many interesting ideas that can soon be implemented.
According to the Director of Kropyvnytskyi College of Engineering, Nikolay Storozhuk, “Such cooperation with the company has been a good tradition for us. Our students have been doing the training at RPC Radiy for six consecutive years as well as defending their graduate works here. Many of them subsequently begin their professional careers at the company.”
Viktor Lipkin concluded, “We are working closely with the college. Many graduates, whom I once examined, are now working as designers and production engineers at Radiy. We give a huge credit to the professors of the College of Engineering, because their students obtain an excellent core education. Congratulations to all the professors and students on their incredibly hard work and prominent achievements!”
