Acceptance Tests of Turbine Regulation System for Rivne NPP Have Been Completed
20.02.2023Radiy wins project for I&C modernization of Reactor Protection Systems at Kozluduy NPP, Bulgaria
29.03.2023On MARCH 7 one more Radiy low voltage equipment successfully passed factory acceptance testing and confirmed its compliance with all the requirements, put forward by the customer. The power supply cabinet with a circuit of automatic load transfer of polar crane was tested at the company’s testing grounds and proved the equipment efficiency.
The power supply cabinet was developed by Electro Technical Design Group to ensure reliable power supply for polar crane installed at nuclear power plants. The system uses special technical devices to transfer the power from polar crane to the back up feeder in case of loss or disruption of the main feeder power supply.
By the middle of March the equipment is planned to be delivered to South Ukraine NPP and installed at Power Unit 3 to replace the obsolete power supply cabinet.
For several decades Radiy has been one of the key suppliers of low voltage equipment for Ukrainian energy market. Currently, Radiy’s reliable power supply systems are installed at all Ukrainian NPPs providing uninterrupted operation of nuclear power facilities and other critical infrastructure.
However, over time the obsolete cabinets have to be replaced. Timely update of the existing power supply systems is extremely important to keep facilities in operation, especially at wartime when the critical infrastructure has been under continuous threat of air strikes.
