On October 10, 2024, radiy congratulated the team of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant on the 20th anniversary of the safe operation of Power Unit No. 4.

Over two decades this Unit, the youngest connected to the power grid during Ukraine's independence, has generated nearly 125 billion kWh of electricity.

In celebrating this milestone, the nuclear plant’s specialists shared their success with radiy’s engineers, who developed and modernized the information and control systems. Throughout the operation of unit No. 4, radiy upgraded key systems, including the main and diversity sets of the emergency and preventive protection system, replaced the system of automatic power regulation, unloading and capacity limitation, as well as accelerated preventive protection of the reactor. In addition, a software and technical complex of high-level range diagnostic systems was installed, fire alarm systems and other critical control and monitoring systems were repeatedly supplied.

Thanks to radiy’s daily cooperation with Ukrainian nuclear workers, the plant continues to meet high standards of reliability and uses top-quality equipment that complies with both Ukrainian and international nuclear safety regulations.
