Radiy’s Functional Equipment for NPPs: Comprehensive Type Testing

November 21, 2025 - Factory Acceptance Testing was completed for a large batch of 0.4 kV Distribution Devices Electric Distribution Cabinets at Radiy’s manufacturing facilities. The equipment was designed and manufactured by Radiy’s specialists for the needs of the South-Ukraine NPP in line with the supply contract provisions.
November 20–21 - A commission, appointed by the Company’s order, performed a comprehensive inspection of the products in line with the requirements of the technical specifications (TS). The testing program included functional, electrical, and structural tests confirming compliance with regulatory documentation, technical specifications, and operating conditions in the power infrastructure of a nuclear power plant.
Based on the results of its work, the commission clearly confirmed that:
- Products fully comply with the requirements of technical specifications and design documentation;
- Main technical indicators are fully consistent with the contract provisions and the specifications for the purchase of “0.4 kV Distribution Devices”;
- No remarks or findings were identified.
The decision made: The products are approved for shipment to the Customer in accordance with the established procedure.
Why EDCs are important for NPPs?
EDCs are the basic units of the NPP electrical infrastructure. They ensure reliable power distribution, actuators safe operation, and processes stability. The successful completion of the Factory Acceptance Testing for this large-scale batch of equipment once again confirms the high quality of Radiy's technological solutions and its contribution to improving the energy independence and safety of the South-Ukraine NPP.
