Radiy Shares Its Expertise: Another Stage of Training on Fire Alarm Systems (FAS) for the Rivne NPP and JSC “KIEP”

On November 12, 2025, RPC Radiy successfully conducted factory acceptance tests (FAT) of equipment for the Fire Alarm System “SPS1” information and control system via an online videoconference. The tested equipment, which included modules of fire alarm control panels and panel computers, was designed and developed for the South Ukrainian NPP.
The testing took place at the Radiy testing grounds in accordance with the requirements of several regulatory and technical documents, including:
- Technical Specification
- Interface Unit Test Procedure
- Addressable Detector Polling Unit Test Procedure
- Control and Indication Board Test Procedure
- Non-Addressable Loop Monitoring Unit Test Procedure
- Panel Computer Test Procedure
During the tests, Radiy’s engineers verified the performance of their products: interface units, addressable detector polling units, voltage stabilizers, non-addressable loop monitoring units, and panel computers.
The Radiy-developed and manufactured equipment successfully passed all tests — the components demonstrated full compliance with the requirements and readiness for their implementation at SUNPP.
The results obtained during the FAT confirm that Radiy’s innovative solutions and high quality can ensure the reliability and safety of nuclear power. The advanced fire alarm system is a step toward strengthening technological independence and stable operation of SUNPP.
