Strategy Towards Energy Independence and Security: “Skifia” + Radiy
02.07.2025July 4, 2025 - Acceptance tests of a prototype of the integrated switchgear assembly for substations developed and manufactured by Radiy specialists were completed.
It was developed by engineers of the Electrical Equipment Department. Tests were conducted at the company's own testing grounds, where all key product characteristics were comprehensively tested.
Based on the positive results of the integrated testing, the acceptance committee recommends approving the draft technical specifications “Integrated switchgear assembly for substations. Technical Specifications” (TS) and recognize the integrated switchgear assembly for substations as ready for serial production and delivery to Ukrainian NPPs.
On July 8, 2025, the integrated switchgear assembly for substations passed the final acceptance tests for Rivne NPP. They were held online, which demonstrates a modern approach to quality control and transparency of the process. The results confirmed that the products fully comply with the technical specifications, design documentation and requirements of the supply agreement.
What are the integrated switchgear assembly for substations and why are they important?
Integrated switchgear assembly for substations are highly specialized electrical equipment that provide safe and reliable connections between power grid elements in transformer substations. They also protect networks from overloads, stabilizing the operation of critical infrastructure. In the context of nuclear power, this means increased reliability and safety of the entire system.
