
Radics and Radiy Represented Ukraine at the World Nuclear Exhibition 2025 in Paris
10.11.2025November 6, 2025 – Specialists from Radiy completed a three-day training course as part of project works on the "Reconstruction. Modernization of the automatic fire alarm and fire extinguishing systems in premises of the safety systems channels I, II and III at the power unit №4 of Rivne NPP in Varash, Rivne region” and in line with the program “Fire alarm systems. Training program for specialists”. Specialists from the Rivne NPP and the company Kyiv Scientific Research and Design Institute “EnergoProekt” (JSC KIEP) joined the training.
The intensive program covered a full cycle of the FAS operation – from theory to practice. Participants gained knowledge on the following topics:
- Purpose, structure and composition of FAS equipment,
- Hardware and Software of the System,
- Maintenance, specific repair issues and performance testing of the FAS, and
- Practical aspects of the System operation and diagnostics.
The training was held in the format of interactive classes, demonstrations and knowledge tests, which allowed participants to gain practical skills in working with real system components. This was the second training course of such type: this summer, specialists from the Khmelnytskyy NPP and Atomenergoresurs LLC successfully have completed a similar course.

Such training is an integral part for ensuring the high-quality operation of nuclear facility safety systems. It improves staff qualifications, facilitates future commissioning works of the FAS1 equipment at nuclear power plant sites, and ensures the reliability of equipment essential for the safety of people and strategic energy facilities in Ukraine.
