Testing of Level Alarm Modules: Full Compliance with NPP Requirements
06.03.2026March 3rd, 2026 - the Radiy team completed training on “Cyber Hygiene: Protection in the Digital World,” dedicated to the practical aspects of security in the context of growing cyber threats. The speaker at the event was Oleksandr Poichenko, Head of Cyber Security Sector of the State Special Communications Service in Kirovohrad region.
Cyber Hygiene as Part of Corporate Culture
During the training, participants reviewed basic and advanced cyber hygiene rules: from creating secure passwords to managing access to corporate systems. Particular focus was made on two-factor authentication as a standard for secure access to services, as well as on regular software updates to minimize vulnerabilities.
The practical section focused on the safe use of smartphones in work processes: device protection, control of installed applications, risks of open Wi-Fi networks, and secure work with corporate email.
Phishing, Incidents, and Backups
Participants learned about algorithms for recognizing phishing attacks, including analysis of typical signs of fake emails, messages, and websites. A separate discussion was held on the procedure for responding to cyber incidents: recording the incident, promptly informing responsible persons, and isolating affected systems.
Data backup has also become an important topic. It is a basic tool for business security and stability. Regular backups, storing copies in secure environments, and testing recovery are essential elements of a company's digital resilience.
Fake News, Disinformation, and the Use of AI
In today's information environment, cybersecurity extends beyond IT infrastructure. The speaker highlighted the dangers of fake news and disinformation, methods for verifying sources, and critical thinking as a tool for protection.
A separate section was dedicated to the use of artificial intelligence technologies: both business opportunities and potential risks (e.g., generation of phishing messages, deepfake content, etc.).
Cyber hygiene is not a formality for Radiy, but rather an integral part of its systematic approach to security. By raising awareness among our team, we strengthen the protection of our partners' technological solutions and data in the digital environment.
