Power Supply Equipment of Control and Protection System (CPS) Control Elements is designed for the following: 

• Power supply of CPS control elements with three-phase 220 V AC and 110 V DC by executing control and auxiliary functions in the design operation modes at power units of nuclear power plants with VVER reactors;
• Shutdown of CPS control element power supply under the emergency protection commands received from any two sets of the emergency protection system;
• Discrete signal generation and output when feeding voltage parameters are violated, which initiates emergency protection actuation in each of three channels of the first and second emergency protection set.

Power Supply Equipment of Control and Protection System (CPS) Control Elements ensures 24-hour continuous operation. The systems allow component replacement without voltage removal.

Cabinets of Power Supply Equipment of Control and Protection System (CPS) Control Elements have the protection degree IP 20 and have a life span of 30 years.

Between 2007 and 2020, 10 Power Supply Equipment sets of Control and Protection System (CPS) Control Elements were designed, manufactured, supplied, and installed in Ukrainian and European nuclear power plants:

• Rivne;
• South-Ukraine;
• Zaporizhzhia;
• Kozloduy (Bulgaria).
