The Ukrainian Nuclear Society Has Opened a New Division at Radiy

March 10, 2026, Radiy hosted a kick-off meeting to set up a separated division of the public organization “Ukrainian Nuclear Society”. This event became another step towards strengthening the professional community of nuclear industry specialists in Ukraine.

Participation in the development of the Ukrainian Nuclear Society expert platform is an important part of our Company’s systematic efforts to support the industry. Over many years, Radiy has been developing and implementing digital control and protection systems for nuclear power plants, ensuring the reliability and safety of their operation not only in Ukraine but also at international sites.

We are convinced that establishing a UNS division within our Company will open up new opportunities for consolidating the scientific, engineering, and expert capabilities of the industry. This collaboration will contribute to the development of nuclear technologies, the exchange of professional knowledge, and the promotion of a modern culture of nuclear safety.

The participants of the kick-off meeting have elected Radiy’s General Director Alina Begun as Chair of the division, and Technical Director Kostiantyn Leontiiev as Vice Chair.

“Combining the UNS expert capabilities with the Radiy’s technical capabilities will enable us to work more effectively on pressing issues related to safety and innovative development in the energy sector,” the meeting participants noted.
