Radiy Strengthens Digital Resilience: Training Course “Cyber Hygiene: Protection in the Digital World”
09.03.2026February 26th, 2026 - a special commission consisting of representatives from all Ukrainian nuclear power plants and Radiy specialists completed acceptance testing of level alarm modules (LAM) specially designed for use in industrial systems with a high level of reliability.
The test program included verification of functional features, reliability, resistance to external impacts, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Testing was conducted in line with approved programs and procedures, with all parameters duly recorded.
Customers expressed additional preferences to make specific updates to the modules' service software. The equipment developers - specialists from our Physical Process Analysis Tools Design team - completed the updates within record 5 days.
The results confirmed:
- Full compliance with technical requirements;
- Stable operation in nominal and limiting modes;
- Correctness of control and protection algorithms;
- Readiness of the solution for serial production and implementation at the customer's facilities.
Why is Level Alarm Module Important?
Level Alarm Modules measure the resistance of the medium and generate discrete threshold signals when the set resistance levels are reached. All Level Alarm Modules settings (threshold levels, operating modes, additional parameters) are configured using service software via the RS-485 digital interface. In addition, the Level Alarm Modules generate a discrete “Fault” signal during:
- Power supply failure of Level Alarm Modules;
- Software code integrity violation;
- Violation of the set parameters integrity;
- Measured resistance drop below the set value (sensor short circuit control);
- Measured resistance exceeding 1 MΩ (line break control).
