The Radiy Universal Current Distributor is Ready for Use at Ukrainian Nuclear Power Plants
03.07.2026June 10-12, 2026, - Radiy executives represented by Ievgenii Bakhmach, Chairman of the Supervisory Council, and Alina Begun, General Director, participated in the BULATOM 2026 International Forum, which took place in Varna, Bulgaria.
This year’s forum was dedicated to the topic “Bulgarian Nuclear Energy – National, Regional, and World Energy Security” and brought together representatives of government agencies, regulatory bodies, energy companies, international organizations, and leading suppliers of technology for the nuclear industry. The conference was held under the patronage of the President of the Republic of Bulgaria, the Bulgarian Ministry of Energy, and the Bulgarian Nuclear Regulatory Agency. The event was organized by the Bulgarian Nuclear Forum (BULATOM).
Alina Begun presented the “Cybersecure I&C Solutions based on «Cybersecure I&C Solutions Based On RadICS Platform», where she highlighted key advantages of cybersecure systems based on the digital I&C RadICS Platform and their successful implementation in various projects around the world. Ms. Alina pointed out that the main advantage of Radiy’s solutions is the implementation of the “cybersecurity by design” principle in the RadICS Platform, where cybersecurity requirements are integrated into the architecture and design solutions from the earliest design stages, rather than being treated as an additional layer of protection.
The participants also discussed the current state and future prospects of nuclear energy in Bulgaria, and the world. Particular attention was paid to the implementation of new energy projects, the development of supply chains, the adoption of innovative technical solutions, and the operation and maintenance of nuclear facilities. Several sessions were devoted to the prospects for the development of small modular reactors (SMRs).
Radiy already has invaluable experience in implementing digital, cybersecure I&C systems for both existing nuclear power plants and new SMRs, and is currently shaping its vision for future projects in this promising industry. Participating in the forum was an important opportunity for Radiy to present its own experience and technological innovations, which are successfully applied at nuclear power plants in Ukraine, Europe, Argentina, Brazil, the United States, and Canada.
