Radiy Specialists Visited South Ukraine NPP on a Technical Tour

Radiy employees visited South Ukraine NPP on a technical tour. The group included young designers, circuit design engineers, software engineers, specialists in other fields, and HR managers. South Ukraine NPP and Radiy have been reliable partners for over 20 years: digital I&C systems and other safety-critical equipment designed and manufactured by Radiy have been installed and continue to operate reliably at the NPP’s power units.

“Safety and reactor trip systems, automatic control systems for the nuclear and conventional islands, and 0.4 kV electrical equipment – all of this was manufactured at our Company,” said Oleksandr Zazymko, Lead Engineer at Radiy. The technical tour was organized for young employees involved in developing and manufacturing equipment, including equipment for South Ukraine NPP. It is an opportunity for them to see the results of their work in operation, understand their importance to nuclear power plant safety, and appreciate their own responsibility.

The technical tour group included both Radiy employees and potential future colleagues: students majoring in electrical engineering at Central Ukrainian National Technical University (CNTU), as well as their lecturers.

“The tour was very informative and useful. We saw opportunities for future cooperation in the energy sector for both the university and the department. We also learned about the opportunities to arrange student internships at the NPP and organize a study visit for them,” said Valentyn Soldatenko, Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical Engineering Systems and Energy Management at CNTU.
