Radiy Specialists Conducted Type Tests of the Fire Alarm System and Fire Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment

September 16–17, 2026 – a commission conducted Type Tests of the Fire Alarm System and Fire Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment, manufactured in line with the applicable technical specifications at Radiy’s production facilities. The commission worked at the Company’s test site via videoconference.

The commission included representatives of customers and regulatory organizations: specialists from Energoatom, the State Scientific and Technical Center for Nuclear and Radiation Safety, and of the Rivne, South Ukraine, Zaporizhzhia, and Khmelnytskyi NPPs. The participants remotely monitored every stage of the tests, verified that the products met the applicable technical requirements, and reviewed the complete set of technical documentation.

Product Functionality and Applications

The Fire Alarm System and Fire Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment are designed to promptly detect signs of fire, generate and transmit fire signals, and monitor the status of system components. Fire Alarm Control and Indicating Equipment receive and process signals from fire detectors, monitor fire alarm loops and connected devices, generate alarm signals, and transmit information to other fire protection systems and equipment.

These technical solutions can be used at nuclear power facilities, industrial enterprises, and energy and infrastructure facilities where the timely detection of fire and reliable transmission of information about a hazardous event are essential components of an integrated safety system.
