From September 11 to 12, 2024, acceptance tests for fire cabinets intended for Unit 2 of the Rivne NPP were conducted at radiy. These tests marked a significant milestone in fulfilling the equipment supply contract and were carried out in accordance with the specifications for “Complete Low-Voltage Devices.”
The fire cabinets are designed to house fire alarm control units, ensuring ease of use and a high level of operational efficiency.
During the testing process, the members of the commission conducted a thorough examination of the cabinets to ensure compliance with the required specifications and quality standards. The evaluation covered critical aspects such as electrical insulation parameters, design reliability, functionality, and operational safety. Additionally, the tests assessed the integrity of the electrical circuits, the quality of materials used, injury prevention measures, and protections against human error and unauthorized access.
The results demonstrated a high level of product quality, confirming that the cabinets fully meet the required specifications and are ready for deployment at SS RNPP Unit 2. Following the successful tests, the equipment will be shipped to the customer for installation and operational use.
