06.04.2026April 15, 2026 - Radiy hosted a career guidance tour for high school students from the “Innovative Gymnasium of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council”, a municipal educational institution. The event was held as part of the Swiss-Ukrainian DECIDE project on career guidance for children and adolescents – “Decentralization for the Development of Democratic Education”. It was organized based on the results of a preliminary survey of ninth-graders in the Kropyvnytskyi City Territorial Community regarding their career interests.
Twenty students joined the tour along with accompanying teachers, including the organizers – career counselors from the municipal institution “Kropyvnytskyi Inter-School Resource Center No.1” of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council, Diana Volobueva and Olga Doskalova, as well as social educator Artem Khalmradov and educational organizer Alyona Lozova, who represent the municipal institution “Innovative Gymnasium of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council.” The students learned about the Company’s operations, modern technologies, and areas of work in power and engineering sectors. The students had the opportunity to observe actual production processes, learn more about engineering professions, and ask questions of the specialists.
Such events are an important step towards helping students make an informed decision about their future careers. They help students better understand modern job markets, assess their own interests and abilities, and see career prospects in Ukraine. Working with schools is extremely important for training future specialists. It is precisely such career guidance initiatives that shape the country’s human resource potential, promote the development of technical professions, and help young people make informed choices in favor of in-demand industries.
