March 10-12, 2026 – Factory Acceptance Tests (FAT) were conducted at Radiy’s testing facilities for the equipment of the second channel of safety system for Rivne NPP Power Unit No.4 in line with Supply Contract No.53-129-01-25-03314 dated March 12, 2025.
A comprehensive range of equipment designed and manufactured by Radiy’s specialists for the modernization of the Rivne NPP power unit safety systems was verified during the tests. The scope of supply included:
- Engineered Safety Features Actuation System for the second channel of the Safety Control System of Power Unit No.4 (4ESFAS-2), developed in line with the technical specifications for design, manufacturing, and supply;
- Set of Electric Distribution Cabinets for the second channel of the Safety System of Power Unit No.4, manufactured in line with the relevant technical specifications;
- Single-Turn Electric Actuators (STEA), designed for process equipment controlling;
- Level Alarm Modules (LAM), developed according to new technical specifications for process parameter control systems.
The specialists verified the equipment’s compliance with technical requirements, operational accuracy, system component integration, and the readiness of the solutions for further operation at the nuclear power plant.
The successful FAT completion is a critical stage in confirming the quality and reliability of the equipment before its delivery to the power unit. Once again, Radiy has confirmed its high level of engineering development and manufacturing capabilities in creating solutions for NPP safety systems.
